I trust NO other veterinary clinic with the care of my precious babies. I've been with Reading Animal Clinic with three Mini Schnauzers (20+ yrs.) and the care is exemplary. From beginnings to ends, this practice of expert doctors and staff has provided support, empathy, sympathy, direct health advice/care and estimates of costs to treat. Phone calls are returned in timely manner. Any urgent issue is triaged in for a prompt assessment. Everyone is attentive, professional, personable, and catering to our pet first in time of need.

I brought my dog here for a second opinion after being loyal to my first vet for over 4 years. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly and happy to be there even though my appointment was a half hour before they closed. Dr. Flynn is so professional and personable, she made my experience stress-free and answered all of my questions. Cheyenne at the front desk and Heather both helped me out tremendously as well and were always smiling and more than happy to help me with anything I needed, as well as making my dog so comfortable when she is normally a nervous wreck at the vet!! After one appointment I already know that I’m going to be coming back. 1,000% recommend Reading Animal Clinic!
We recently switched to this practice as we could not get an appointment in anything close to a timely manner at our then current practice. Wow, what a difference. The staff is outstanding and compassionate. So far, we have had 2 appointments. One routine and the other urgent care. On both occasions, the vets were wonderful, knowledgeable and offered excellent care. We recently had to take our dog there for an urgent situation and could not be more pleased with the responsiveness, ease of getting same day appointment and the level of care given to our dog. The facility is new and well maintained. And the prices are reasonable. We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to trust our fur baby to their care.
Based on our initial visit: Professional, Caring, Knowledgeable, Thorough, Straight-Forward, Well Staffed, Helpful, Welcoming, Cheering, Kind, and Committed to the comfort and care of both pet and parent. Very clean facility. I would, and did, recommend RAC to family and friends.

Had our dog spayed here, during the spay they were supposed to microchip her while she was under, and it was confirmed multiple times leading up to the appointment. After picking her up, realized when reviewing the bill at home that they never actually did it.
Next needed to have the same dog’s nails trimmed under sedation, over multiple calls they kept trying to schedule a spay for the dog they already spayed. After 30 minutes of phone calls, finally we’re able to schedule a sedated nail trim and get a quote for it. Day before the appointment, they tried confirming the spay and could not understand that we were scheduled for a sedated nail trim.
Impossible to trust the vet when the scheduling and administration is so terrible, how do you know your pet is going to get the correct treatment? Dr. Moon was a fantastic doctor but everything else about Reading Animal Clinic is extremely disappointing.
Dr. B was so sweet, caring w/empathy and encouragement. Kitty at 21 is being made comfortable and we are doing well.
